This worksheet demonstrates a problem of heating a liquid. Producing chemicals almost always requires control of temperature of liquids contained in vessels. In a batch process a vessel would typically be filled with liquid, sealed and heated to a prescribed temperature. This Maple worksheet models and analyses such a system and calculates the time required for the liquid to reach the desired temperature
