MapleSim toolbox expands control capabilities

Maplesoft recently announced an add-on to the MapleSim Control Design Toolbox. Updates to the Toolbox include additional control algorithms that operate on a wider range of systems, as well as the ability to construct closed-loop systems so users can create controllers with feedback.

Maplesoft, Toyota and the University of Waterloo have been awarded the joint Synergy Award for Innovation instituted by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Their joint collaboration in designing automotive systems produced model-based controllers that improve safety and comfort, as well as reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
