|Create Möbius Apps to Win!
Maplesoft is launching the Möbius App Challenge to give Maplesoft community members the opportunity to get involved in the creation of Möbius Apps. This contest seeks to challenge users to create Math Apps using Maple, submit them to The Möbius Project website, then award the most useful, creative, and effective submissions.Individual Level Challenge
Four times a year, Maplesoft will short-list five Möbius Apps from among the submissions received. The Maplesoft community will then vote on which app they think should win.
The winner of the best Möbius App, as chosen by the community, will win the individual level prize for that quarter. All prizes awarded to individual app winners will have a value of between $1000 and $2000!
On December 1st, 2013, Maplesoft will tally the total apps submitted by all individuals from each academic institution. The institution with the largest number of individually submitted apps wins the grand prize! Winning the grand prize depends on how many apps your institution submits as a whole by 11:59 Eastern Time on November 30, 2013. In the month of December 2013, Maplesoft will announce the winning institution.
The winning institution can choose one of the following options:
A one year campus-wide site license of Maple, Maple T.A., and MapleSim, valid for the 2014 calendar year (up to a $50,000 value).*
A $20,000 research grant, to be applied towards science, technology, engineering or mathematics research.*
