This application demonstrates how to perform both lossy and lossless image compression with Haar Wavelet Transform using DWT() command in the SignalProccessing Package. Haar Wavelet compression modifies the entries in an image matrix to increase the number of zero entries, thus resulting in a sparse matrix that can be stored more efficiently by the computer.
