Maple 11 is now available in Chinese, Korean, and Greek
Waterloo, Canada; 10 January 2008: Maplesoft™, the leading provider of high-performance software tools for engineering, science, and mathematics, today announced the availability of its flagship product, Maple™, in additional languages. The newly supported languages are Chinese, Korean, and Greek, adding to the current support for Japanese and English. In its eleventh edition, Maple is a widely popular tool used by engineers, researchers, teachers, and students around the world. The new language support makes the tool available to a wider group of users.
Maple is a mathematical software tool that solves complex mathematical problems and creates rich technical documents that can be reused or shared across an organization. Maple combines the world’s most powerful mathematical computation engine with an intuitive user interface that eliminates the learning curve so common with other mathematical software.
“The last few years have been significant to the growth of Maple, with a larger number of users from across the world joining the Maple community. It has been both enriching and rewarding for us,” said Laurent Bernardin, Vice President, Research and Development, Maplesoft. “The recent language editions reflect our continued commitment to global markets and the focus on increasing our user base in continents such as Asia and Europe.”
