Corporate (Academic) Overview

Maplesoft™ is the leading provider of high-performance software tools for engineering, science, and mathematics. Its product suite reflects the philosophy that given great tools, people can do great things. Over the years, it has redefined the instruction of mathematics and created a total solution for modern academic institutions.

Using Maplesoft products, teachers can bring both simple and complex problems to life; students can focus on concepts more than the mechanics of solutions; and researchers can develop more sophisticated algorithms or models.

Visionary ideas such as “Clickable Math” and “Clickable Engineering”, which deliver powerful mathematics through very visual, interactive point-and-click methods, are embedded in the company’s flagship product, Maple™. These methodseliminate traditional complex command sets, ensuring time is spent teaching the concepts rather than the tools and students are instantly productive and engaged.

Over 90% of advanced research institutions and universities worldwide, including MIT, Stanford, Oxford, the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and the U.S. Department of Energy, have adopted Maplesoft solutions to enhance their education and research activities. Organizations around the world have applied Maplesoft solutions in nearly every technical field including engineering design, operations research, scientific research, and financial analysis. Maplesoft's commercial customer base includes Allied Signal, BMW, Boeing, DaimlerChrysler, DreamWorks, Ford, General Electric, Hewlett Packard, Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Raytheon, Robert Bosch, Sun Microsystems, Toyota, and Tyco.
