This work extends a conviction already central to the previous one. To fully understand a mathematical object, one must also observe it in its numerical implementation. Functions, in the previous volume, and matrices, in this one, share this same reality. Once we move beyond the situations formatted for academic teaching, it is their numerical embodiments that guide the analysis.
