This series presents a range of comprehensive examples using MapleSim to model complex automotive systems. This edition illustrates techniques for modeling vehicle dynamics and in particular, in the application of MapleSim’s exceptional multibody dynamics library. Specific case studies will include full vehicle modeling, active suspension, stability control, steering and more. Techniques and tools for HIL applications will be presented with a special emphasis on accelerating the realtime performance of plant models using MapleSim’s unique model simplification and code optimization facilities.
